Nesticle Enterprises 10-24-04 The Grudge = Teh Sux Andy and I (Styles) went and saw The Grudge this weekend. I honestly can't remember a time when I was more disapointed. Well . . . there was Van Helsing but that's beside the point. Anyways, we'll post a scathing rebuke of that movie and tell you all why it sucked so bad, so be sure to check the movie reviews sometime in the next couple of days. Seriously, read our review before you go see this movie . . . I mean are we ever wrong about this stuff? No way. 9-25-04 World of Fantasy in Indy Justin and I went up to Indy last night (Friday September 24th, 2004). I was very impressed with the place. It was very large and organized and there were many magic players there. That night we played in 1 booster draft and another Type2 tourney. They had 2 or 3 Kamigawa drafts that night and I think only 1 Type2. That was a very busy night for them though, they were having a poker tournament going on and probably half of the people there were competing in that. Anyways... they had about 18 tables in the playing room and one big table in the vendor room. The draft was 15$ to play in and the type2 tourney was free. I placed 2nd and Justin placed 3rd. Wars DVD: Gross Disappointment. I'm

start off by saying "Wow . . ." Unless all of my discs are defects . .

. this DVD release is horrible and a gross disappointment that, for me,

will tarnish the name of Lucasarts. I can't even begin to describe the

disappointment to you but I'm going to try. In one scene on the

Millennium Falcon, Luke is blocking laser blasts from a remote . . .

when the scene starts out his lightsaber is green! I don't just mean a

green a tint I mean it looks like his lightsaber from ROTJ. Another

thing, when the Tie Fighters are attacking the Millennium Falcon after

they escape from the Death Star, there are weird little boxes around

them! So in a movie format where usually they fix things . . . they

made it worse. I'm going to try and post a complete lists of changes,

good and bad, that were made for the DVD release under the Rate Movies

sub forum in the Reviews section. Before I do, however, I'm going to

rent them from Block Buster and check to see if my DVD's are defective

or that's the way they were intended to be. 9-18-04 Champions

of Kamigawa Pre-Release Update Zach,

Eddie and I went to Indy this morning to goto the Chapions of Kamigawa

pre-release. It was really fun. We got there around 9:00am and the

maing flight started around 1:00pm. We recieved our tourney decks and 2

boosters and ended up keeping the cards we opened. It was pretty fun

but because of our tight schedule we had to leave around 2:30pm so we

only got to play one round. Zach and I are definitely going to the next

pre-release in Indy this Winter. We hope to stay there the night before

and maybe all day if it will be worth it. 9-9-04 Champions

much awaited Halo 2 will be due out November 8th. This information

. 9-2-04 Half-Life

2 Release Date Now 1st of November. Apparently

the information we received earlier about the Half-Life 2

release date was a hoax. I guess the source was still leaked and betas

were still made and people were still prosecuted but this did not

effect anything. However, Half-Life 2 WILL eventually be released on

the 1st of November. Sorry for any false hopes we may have raised. 8-31-04 Half-Life

2 release date is currently September 3rd 2004 (UK) due to

the source code leak according to Valve Software, please avoid

downloading beta and leaked copies its illegal, and many contain

viruses or trojans. Several people have been arrested over these
